ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS or A.D.U.

An accessory dwelling unit is a small independent living space built on the same property as the main residence. They are also know as in-law suites or secondary suites. We construct these dwellings to compliment the existing home whether they are stand alone or constructed within the existing home.
How ADUs can be built:
* Internal: Convert a basement, attic or garage into a separate unit.
* Attached: Build a new addition onto the main house.
* Detached: Build a new separate stand alone cottage or structure on the property.
Benefits of an ADU:
* Affordable housing: ADUs can be less expensive than a new single family home.
* Income: Home owners can earn long and short term rental income from their ADU.
* Aging in place: Seniors can live in the ADU while downsizing or renting out the main dwelling.
* Family Support: ADUs can provide space for family members.
Please keep in mind detached ADUs must be under 900 square feet.
